This team represented the Czech Republic at the 1960 Olympics & finished 4th out of 12 teams behind the U.S., Canada & Soviet Union - Their Top 10 Point Leader & 7th overall was Vaclav Pantuchek, 7 Goals, 12 Pts - In addition to Golonka & Vlach the other top players on the team were Vlastimil Bubnik (Deceased) - Josef Cerny & Jaroslav Jirik (Deceased) - The 1st player from Europe to play in the NHL (St Louis Blues, 1969 / 70) & Frantisek Tikal whom Father David Bauer of Canada said was the Best Defenseman in Europe
